Some of the most common issues when embedding your campaign using an iframe

IFrame not showing

If you have inserted the iframe into your website but cannot see your campaign, it is most likely one of the following issues:

1. Did you enable security headers?

In the platform, you can enable frame ancestors and add the domain of the website where you are iframing the game.

If you have enabled security headers, check that you have added the domain correctly. Remember to add the main domain for the website (e.g. playable.com), not the specific URL where you will be iframing the game.

2. Clear Cache

If your campaign is live, you have to clear the cache and check the URL with the iframe in a new incognito browser window. Learn more about editing live campaigns here.

3. Campaign not published

If the campaign has not been published and you have inserted the Live URL you will see a 404 page. If the campaign is published but the campaign period does not include the current date, you will see a "campaign not active" or "campaign expired" message.

Publish the campaign or, if you are still in the testing phase, replace the Live URL with the Demo URL โ€” but make sure to replace the Live URL when you are done testing or else you will not collect data properly.

4. Error in the script

Copy the script again from under the Publishing tab and re-insert it in your website.

Content doesn't fit

If your iframe is not tall enough for the amount of content on your campaign landing page, the content will either be cropped or there will be a scrollbar within the iframe.

Make sure to add the "responsive support" script above the iframe script in order to create an iframe that adjusts to the height of your landing page content.
